“I remember The Tunes and The Donkeys gig. I'd heard The Donkey's debut double a side single, 'What I Want'/'Four Letters', and phoned the label to ask what stuff they had to give away and was rewarded with a guest list slot for this gig. For the record, CP Lee and Gordon the Moron compared that night.”
