Master Tape
New Order
12th September 1987

This is the tape of their unusual show at Irvine Meadows in California on 12th September 1987 at which they played a set which matched the 'Substance' best of album in order. This was then topped of with a couple of Joy Division numbers and the Velvets' 'Sister Ray'.

The reference to 'The Passenger' is because they played a few bars of the Iggy song before launching into 'True Faith'.

Setlist:

01. Ceremony
02. Everything's Gone Green
03. Temptation
04. Blue Monday
05. Confusion
06. Thieves Like Us
07. The Perfect Kiss
08. Sub Culture
09. Shellshock
10. State Of The Nation
11. Bizarre Love Triangle
12. The Passenger/True Faith

13. Atmosphere
14. Love Will Tear Us Apart
15. Sister Ray

Latest Discussion

“They played the first eleven tracks from Substance in order the week before as well, at Toronto CNE Grandstand, then added Age Of Consent to close the set.”
