An excellent first Manchester date for the Foo Fighters. Their next, I think was -suprisingly, supporting The Prodigy at GMex - a great night.

For rock fans of a certain age Kurt Cobain's death remains a "where were you" moment. I was in the car coming off Slade Lane in Longsight onto Stockport Rd. Heard it on the radio and still think about it every time I drive past there.

How many times did Nirvana play in Mcr? International 1? Academy was it? Any artefacts out there?
