The Durutti Column
Russell Club, Factory Club (see also Russell Club)

The first time I can be sure that we went to the Factory / Russell Club was 07/07/1978 to see Magazine. We were frequent visitors to the Russell Club, but for whatever peculiar mechanism of chance that dictates these things, there are only three tickets from that venue that have survived and remain in my possession. One is the Magazine gig, one is this rather anonymous ticket stub, and the third is for Generation X in November 1978. The hand writing that tells us that the headline band was Durutti Column is that of my wife. Sadly she did not include a date, so more information is required to determine the exact date.
