Artefact

Record / CD / Tape
The Durutti Column, Joy Division
1978

The first Factory record, though the second actual Factory artefact (the first being a poster).

This was a double 7" release featuring tracks by Joy Division, The Durutti Column, John Dowie and Cabaret Voltaire and came with a set of 4 stickers on a sheet, one design for each of the artists featured. There was also a small Factory Records sticker.

Not surprisingly the value of this particular release has escalated dramatically on eBay due to the interest generated by 'Control'.
