19.06.2003 : WITCHWOOD, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Manchester
Two punk rock bands from Wythenshawe starting @ 8:00pm
SLAUGHTER & THE DOGS, plus support Spittin' Dummies
Gig billed as Slaughter's first gig in Manchester for 23 years.
Great set and two cover versions - My Generation & Get It On
Went to the gig with my girlfriend Barbara and took some pics.
10 quid on the door, a great lively atmosphere, pogo dancing too.
Brilliant to see Slaughter back on stage again after so many years.
Gig poster kindly given to me by Vinyl Exchange, Oldham Street.
Several photos and the poster featured in The TJM Story (2021).
'How To Make It Big In The Music Business' by Tony Davidson.
Slaughter were based at Tony's TJM rehearsal studios on Little
Peter Street in the late 1970s, hence their mention in his book.
