This is not a story but a question , after listening to 3 Slight Seconds songs , I believe them to be one of the best bands I have ever heard , the songs i have heard are slight seconds (brilliant) puppet on a string (awsome) and where were you (great) but my question is , why oh why cant i find any of their records ? it is such a shame that such a great band with such a great sound have very little exposure , I think if they were here and now today they would be a great success , even after 28 - 30 years , I must thank John Peel who blessed my ears with great music . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

“Many thanks for the interest after all these years. Slight Seconds only recorded out put is contained on the Manchester Musicians Collective album (2 tracks) and one side of the above picture Waiting Room album.
We were on the verge of starting work on a mini-album when our drummer died. The band folded.”
