After the band Inside Edge broke up in 1991 bassist Nigel (pictured) and vocalist Phil formed a duo under the band name "D’acier Dieu" and completed a five-track demo at The Shed recording studio in Romiley.

The demo was called “Come Out Fighting” and the track listing was:

1. New Horizons
2. Shannon
3. Systemised
4. Autumn Or You
5. Yesterday (Original P. McCartney)

Nigel enlisted Steve Finn on acoustic guitar to play on the demo, but this never featured on the recordings.

The final track, a cover of The Beatles “Yesterday” by Paul McCartney was originally going to feature Nigel’s Nanna, Mary Hulme on vocals who had rehearsed the song with the duo. Sadly, Mary Hulme passed away before the studio recording could take place.

The band never gigged, and this was their only studio recording.
