Artefact

Poster
Thunderboys, Chris Hall, Carmel Mccourt, Danny Daniels, Terry Baker
1979

Poster from spring 1979 advertising upcoming concerts at Didsbury (Manchester Metropolitain). The Thunderboys, second on the bill for the Wednesday lineup, are best known for having given Carmel to the world but many overlook the fact that this band was a strong unit all the way through and Chris Hall (a Manchester fine artist and photographer) was one of the finest bass players around at that time. Chris Hall's photographs of Mick Hucknall and the Frantic Elevators adorned the back of their "Voice in the Dark" single (released on TJM Records).
