This is an article from the September 1989 issue of Blueprint magazine, about Dry 201, and it features Ben Kelly. The bar opened in July 1989, and if you went, you'll know there was nothing like it in Manchester, let alone the area. It was cool. Back then, it closed at 11pm and 10.30pm on Sundays, and for the first few years there was no DJ, just a CD player behind the bar, and the bar staff would always play La Wally, from the Diva soundtrack.
