“Talking of wallpaper, checkout the wallpaper at the new-ish refurbed pub on Oldham St - The Northern. The wallpaper is, presumably specially commissioned, a chequerboard effect of iconic images of John Cooper Clarke and (I think) Albert Finney. You can see it online on the Links page at www.thenorthernpub.co.uk/”
