Ticket for Manic Street Preachers supported by Catatonia at the Manchester Arena. This was at the height of the influx of Welsh bands toward the end of the Britpop era. The Manics had gone to number one with "If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next" earlier that year, and Catatonia had released "Mulder and Scully" which would be their highest ever chart entry.
