Biting Tongues, Yargo, Homelife, Paddy Steer
1991

I was introduced to Yargo in 1985 by their manager and would, for the next 3 years at least, photograph and video the band, record gigs and design record sleeves for them. I would also record any tv appearances that I could as I was, basically, a fan. This clip is from Granada TV's 'What's New' programme with Yargo performing 'Believe', a track from their 1989 studio album 'Communicate'. Yargo were based in Manchester and were Basil Clarke (vocals), Tony Burnside (guitar), Paddy Steer (bass) and Phil Kirby (drums)
