The Limit/Shades

The Limit nightclub in Chorlton went through various guises including Sloopys, The Lamplight and Shades. It was a place to go to meet up with mates for a late drink. We would sometimes leave town to come back to The Limit when the vibe in town wasn't good. I went when it was Lamplight and Shades as well as the Limit but Sloopys pre-dated me. Local bands would occasionally play there.
