Audio File
James Stannage
Piccadilly Radio
1976

Extract from the James Stannage show between 11.40pm and 12.40am, from 1976 – midnight news bulletin presented by Eric Lafone. Stannage reads out general dedications to listeners and entries for a Mother’s Day competition to have flowers delivered to listeners’ mothers. Plays his own choice of music rather than chart material, plus extracts from a live recording of Jasper Carrot and Monty Python. The show ends with an interview with a guest claiming the title Reverend Loveless who claims to sing English folk songs in folk clubs – probably a spoof, but no further information is revealed. Summary by Stuart Monk, 2025. (PICC/734)
