Tony Hawkins introduces an episode of his classical music show Performance from early 1981 which features a recording of the Hallé orchestra performing in 1980 to mark the tenth anniversary of Sir John Barbirolli's death. The orchestra plays Elgar's The Music Makers, conducted by Sir Charles Groves.
