Episode of a drama series set around top twenty songs. Recording starts with excerpt of 'When a Child is Born' by Johnny Mathis, with voice over detailing name of programme, year, title and name of writer. Play begins in a break room; Jed and Chris talk about Sharon who is having a baby with Jed. Jed is reluctant to go to the hospital for the birth or get involved with Sharon and the baby. Work colleague, Carol, tells him he has a phone call from the hospital. They berate Jed for not being there for Sharon. Later, Jed leaves work and visits the hospital. He apologises to Sharon for not being there and admits he was terrified. After the play the full version of 'When a Child is Born' is broadcast, with voice over detailing writer, names of actors and producer. Written by Andy Lynch, produced by Tony Hawkins, starring .
