21st March 1986

Advert for the first night of The Boardwalk as a venue proper with 'pub hours'.
A Certain Ratio played that opening night with The Pale Fountains & The Bodines on the Saturday and The Wedding Present & The Monkey Run rounding off the weekend.
It would be a couple of years before my first visit though.
