Another autograph from Nellie Melba. She writes that this signature was given after her "farewell appearance." It is true that Nellie's very last performance took place in 1926 - she performed songs from 'Roméo et Juliette,' 'Otello,' and 'La Bohéme' in Covent Garden on 8th June 1926. You will notice that this does not match the date of this autograph, which was likely obtained at her last perfomance in Manchester.
