1905

On this day in 1905, Horace Petherick, illustrator and violin enthusiast wrote this assessment of a violin given for his inspection. He believes that the violin given for his consideration, on behalf of the Editor of the Strad magazine, is an original Mezzadri with a handsome scroll. This is an example of some of the more esoteric material collected by Arthur Reynolds.
