Follies
9th March 1999

I can't remember whether or not I even attended this particular night. Oooh, it's all a blur.

One of the main things I do recall about Homo Electric at Follies was the mysterious DJ ‘booth’ (basically a velvet curtain) behind which a variety of hi-jinks would take place.

DJs for this evening were Kath McDermott, Philippa (Dancefloor) Jarman and Marc Rowlands.

Design by Paula McNamara.

“The DJ "booth", was actually the pool table where we put our record boxes and the end of the bar, where we put the decks. We would also normally have an MC, or singer in there (Julie Stewart/Veba/Mem Morrisson) and 13 lesbians drinking our rider, telling us they loved us, and giving each other "massages". As a result it would get quite hot and hectic in there!”
