Programme
Hardrock Concert Theatre
1975

I was just a kid when I used to go to the heavy night at the Hardrock, I was only 14 (it's a b&q now ! ). Had the time of my life there every thursday night, and was introduced to loads of new music. The sound system was superb, courtesy of the Rank oranisation, and the club was state of the art at the time. They always had a band do a gig as well, which added to the thrill, and fell in love with my first rock chick, Steph, there. Happy days !
Also went to all the recordings for 45 there by Granada hosted by Kid Jensen.
The Hardrock closed around sept/oct '75 and the heavy night dj's (can't remember their names now, me poor 'ol memmoreeee ! ), relocated to the original Jilly's on Gore St, near Piccadilly.
Old reprobates I hung out with from those days : Chris Roberts, Niel Roche, Don Hadwin and Barry Rigby.
