The Twisted Wheel (Whitworth Street)

Dear MDMA 7 Members,
I have been trying to track down a guy called KEN or KEV WHITE of who it is said "legend has it" that he has actual colour 8mm footage of the Twisted Wheel Club's scene and crowd in Braznose St and Whitworth St in their heyday.

Have any of your members got any contact numbers/e-mails etc' for me to contact him?
for a possible Play/TV doc' with Northern backing and connections.

I have tried ex dj's, ex owners of the club/s last we heard hed gone to live in Cornwall...but
hey! maybe he still has relatives here in Manchester who can help me.

All genuine replies followed up
thankyou

“I remember Ian Levine speaking about finding 8mm footage from the Wheel at the time he was publicizing the VHS version of 'The Strange World Of Northern Soul' - I may have missed it in the DVD version I bought recently, but it didn't seem to be there!
Ian has a big internet presence, of course.
Don't know if this helps!
Good Luck,
Stuart”
