Xcess were a hairy bunch of Rock geezers from North Manchester, including Warren "Gilly" Gilligan (Guitar), Steve Nicholson (Guitar), Ken "Ego" Egan (Bass) and Gary Leach (Drums, formerly of White Lightnin') and a singer I can't remember the name of, Gilly, Steve, Ken and Gary went on to form Splitz (another bunch of slightly less hairy rock geezers) and Gilly and Steve later formed The Very Fellows (a bunch of very short haired rock geezers)
