Embassy Club
1963

This was my Life Membership card given to me by Bernard Manning himself ,just before I was started working for himat the Embassy Club in about 1963 as a waiter , I d worked for him previously at the Palladium Club on Collyhurst alongside an old mate from the Southern Sporting Club called Dave Carroll(wonder what happened to him, his brother was the bouncer at the Northern sporting Club called Vinny Carroll)

“Mark I did not know Vinnie that well as I was more of a mate of his Brother Dave but I have spoken to a lady who was a very good friend of Vinny's and she said she will provide you with what she knows but to contact her you will have to go to Facebook and type in Sandra Kelly because there are more than one her photo is of a good looking lady with silver blond hair and say works for Man Utd Just add her as friend she says its ok

“I believe my Mum, Lydia sang at the Embassy in the late 69s early 60s and I'm trying to find out anything about her earlier singing days. The only thing I have is a photo of her on the Club”
