One of the things I loved about Strangeways (apart from the uplifting tunes and mad, mad people!) was that when Paradise got too popular (too hot! always rammed) or because us girls were on their uppers then we would miss it out altogether (&the pre-club jinkies) & just go out at 3 in the morning to Strangeways: Looking fabulous whilst most looked like something the cat dragged in! Ha Ha!
