Flyer
Alexandra Park
4th July 1981

Just spotted the flyer for the last uploaded event so here it is.As I said the coach(es) ran from outside Piccadilly Records.Remember getting the coach to Blackbush to see Dylan do his "Hi England I'm Home " gig from outside the shop a few years earlier."Maggie's Farm" as played by The Specials on the day was a particularly pertinent song of the time...."Stand Down Margaret " indeed....
I can't stop!...coach running from outside the record shop to "mystery destination" (turns out it was Buxton) for the live filming/recording of an Echo and the Bunnymen gig,in need of a rent-a-crowd.Resulted in "Shine So Hard" and probably other things....

“This was a really good gig from the Specials who were falling apart by then though it wasn't obvious on stage - the group of people I went with from Bury decided to stay to the end and missed the coach back, tried to hitch rides, but in the end clubbed together enough for us all to travel back on the train - we met Jerry Dammers travelling alone at Leeds station!
So the Au Pairs played? I have absolutely no recollection of them!
