The flyer.... .Came a long way from playing support to Wah Heat and Pink Military at the Poly.I remember Blondie at Salford Uni a couple of years before.

@amberlight - there was a bar, it was downstairs, should have looked harder! I know this because as the band were playing the vibrations from the audience jumping up and down caused ceiling tiles to fall off in the bar downstairs and people to run for their lives! I knew nothing about this till my friend (who was the social secretary) told me about it afterwards. I'd watched the band from the organ pit at the front of the stage (acting as crap security!) and he had considered coming to rescue me!
