Used to like Lindisfarne when I were a wee lad;learnt the guitar playing from "The Fog On The Tyne" song book;one of my brother's I think.As well as Roy Harper etc.Incredible String Band was another one of those English folk bands,as Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span were, but in general they didn't seem to have the same umph! as their Celtic counterparts;too much Maypole involvement I think.Viv Stanshall and Ivor cutler though,they were something different altogether...
