You could have a lovely day the day you went to Bangor ,and all for under a pound you know....or you could have seen these bands for round the same price......( Indulgent and lame reference to a novelty ditty from the late Seventies; Warning; only to be undertaken and understood by those of the 40 + demograph with a strong constitution.....
Did see Killing Joke here but it was on a Tuesday ( used to go to night school Tech in town and often see midweek bands), with Ski Patrol from Geordieland, as support I think. Also The Au Pairs numerous times; one time in Rotterdam, sat round a backstage table at an open air festival with them and Department S ( of "Is Vic There" notoriety...) having a right old knees up and chinwag. Oh the taxing life of the semi-pro gatecrashing blagger/ligger..."It's Obvious".....still a staunch and all time favourite to this day.....
the Poly did seem to cram them in back then.
