Think this might have been a What’s On for freshers’ week ’85.The Stems popped up a lot on Band On The Wall flyers and it says here they were a Manchester band so I’ve put them on the list; same with Deep Sea Jivers. Baron Von Nasty had been part of The Dancing Tarantulas till they imploded due to chaos and resolute apathy, a lethal combination. He’d got himself an Equity card and ended up doing quite a lot of supports and some work as an extra on telly. A bit of work on “Albion Market” with the likes of Salts from The Jazz Defectors, (a show that lasted all of 5 minutes); but the highlight of his thespian career would no doubt have to be the part of the villain in a crime scene recreation on Crime Watch U.K. The way he walked past that bus stop was outstanding, Stanislavski would have been proud. you just can’t fake that wealth of talent....
I think this may have been an early outing for Little Frank...
