The late, great and sadly missed Dennis Brown. Another Jamaican artist cut down in his prime and with such an expansive song book to choose from, he still sets the benchmark to this day. Wrote before about seeing him at The Russell with Leroy “Horsemouth “ Wallace on drums, and at the end of the show these little kids coming on and dancing around him who, a few months later turned out to be Musical Youth; nice memory....Mention at the bottom about The Coolnotes playing The Hacienda on the 14th Nov.
I think Rumours must have been The Osbourne Club.
