NYE at the Northern Quarters Cuba Cafe 2001

A memorable night, not just for the quality music & crowd, but more so for the fact the bar owner had a mental turn attacking the DJs, chasing them round the venue a la Benny Hill, smashing their gear up & locking a terrfified crowd in after chasing the DJs out onto the snowy street.

It's testament to the build quality of a 1210MKII that it can be smashed to the ground by a manc version of the Incredable Hulk and only have a bent tone arm.

The night was capped off with a police escort out of the city.

At least we all got our vinyl out undamaged!
