Marc Riley & The Creepers
1985

Newsy stuff from Breakout music paper March ’85. Mark Rider? Must be Sean Riley’s brother or summink.....
Were Yeah Yeah No from M/c? I, for one just don't know....
Other articles in this paper:-Factory releasing12 records in March inc. James, The Wake, Quando Quango,12" from Shark Vegas (?), 7" from Life etc.
A full page article on producing, releasing and distributing your own record.
An interview with a Blackburn band "Some Now Are" who had connections to The Passage and Laugh and a single called "Truth to Tell" produced by somebody called Peter Hook....?
Adds/ Reviews for Spirit Studios, Cottage Recording Studios in Macc., Touch Recording Studios in sunny Duckinfield; and while on the subject of studios I recall one called U-Turn Studios in Hyde which i think was in the basement of an old swimming baths.....I wonder whether a sub section of recording studios of Greater Manchester would be worth considering, after all that's where most records would have been recorded if my understanding of their functionality is factually correct; same would apply to local Indy labels etc....just a thought....
