Frank Sidebottom
1985

on the recurring theme of the last upload, a postcard from Frank which might have come with the "Frank's Firm Favourites" medley of which I seem to have lost the cover (along with many others).
Frank's Yuletide offering from Christmas '85. " Oh Christmas in Australia is very, very, hot. We get lots of cold and obviously they do not...you know they don't, they really dont....". Inspired!

“'Ow do Spud; I'm great with faces but crap with names. The Spud that springs to mind was in my class at primary school about a hundred years ago, and the only Eric that rings bells played in Private Sector and I was doing some building work with him while having a working holiday in M/c a few years back. I reckon a lot of people on this site would probably know/ recognise each other (with or without hair...) if they were to cross paths. Never was in a band meself except in a half-hearted/ half-arsed way. Maybe one day there'll be an M.D.M.A. afternoon tea dance at a British Legion somewhere with d.j.s playing old time punk melodies and some of yer housey housey music for the young under 50 kiddies; Log- in lapel names optional...I'm sure there'd be a whole lorra recognition goin' on...”
