Poster
Buzzcocks
1977

Sent in by Richard Engler.

"Their first single following the departure of Howard Devoto and signing to United Artists. The poster is an expanded version of the single sleeve - with an in-your-face Linder Sterling collage tastefully typeset by Malcolm Garrett. A blaring brash punk statement. ”It's exactly what you want for a record sleeve," says Buzzcocks guitarist/singer Pete Shelley. "As soon as you see it you can't get the image out of your head. It was all pretty top - shelf back in 1977.""

“I remember seeing these Posters plastered on walls, as my Bus was coming into Manchester all those years ago. A sight not easily forgotten. Great times, awesome band and nice artwork.”
