Slaughter and the Dogs
Wythenshawe Forum
2nd March 1978

The triumphant return to Wythenshawe by it's most cherished punk sons, Slaughter and The Dogs was a gig to remember. Sat in the Forum cafe waiting to be let into the hall my friend* was rolling a joint when Slaughter's manager, Ray Rossi, came over and told him off. Not very punk we thought, but still the gig was fantastic despite some of the local kids gobbing on everyone because that's what they'd read punks do in the Daily Mirror.
*RIP Mike Power.

“Kevin is there any chance I could get a hi res copy of this poster? The band called the Plough was in fact the Plague and we are still playing today and we would love to put it up on our new website. www.myspace.com/originalplague
