Advert
The Elizabethan (Belle Vue)
15th November 1977

This is an old newspaper cutting advertising The Clash Party at The Elizabethan Hall In Belle Vue. The advert states that The Clash would be supported by Richard Hell & Voidiods, this was not correct. On the night Richard Hell did not appear. The Clash were supported by Siousie and the Bansees and Subway Sect. I was still at school at the time and it was the first gig i went to. What a memorable night, I left that gig full of inspiration, wanting to form my own band.
