Badge
Slaughter and the Dogs
1978

A couple of old Slaughter & the Dogs badges I found in a box of old nic nacs, in my loft. I think I bought these from the punk record shop that was in the underground market. The entrance was down a side street just off Market Street if my memory is right. They used to have all the sleeves from punk records all over the walls. I'm pretty sure it was run by a hippie couple. Does anybody remember the shop and the couple who ran it?

“It may have been Collectors or Discount records, the two stalls in the underground. Somewhere on the site is a discussion about the underground and its stalls but i can't remember where !
I used to get my badges and fifth column t shirts from the stalls on the top floor as well as the Roxy.”

“they also sold 'cap sleeved' t-shirts featuring small logos in gold dipiciting either the words 'Roxy Music' or 'Bowie' on them, it's what we 'Roxy Room' lounge lizards wore during the day when not in full bloom lol”
