Original Artwork
Hill Stores Ballroom
2007

Another great drawing by John Morrissey. He writes:

The huge ballroom inside this former co-op store was used as a venue for live music through the 1930/40s dance band era to 50/60s rock n roll to 70s rock. I can remember local band made good Barclay James Harvest playing here in 1971. The ballroom is now in a state of dilapidation and in serious need of renovation after being unused for the last 20 or 30 years.

I drew this in 2007 from a photo that was taken in the 1960s.
