Two Thieves And A Liar
1985

From City Life 39, Oct. '84. Review of local bands' demos.
Gary Clail's "Two Thieves ad a Liar"; Jeez I still love that song. As powerful, relevant and true as it was all those years ago, I'm sure.Probably mentioned before Alan (Le) Pellay features in Mr. Clail's "Human Nature" video.

“The band's name pre-dated the Clail song by some years. I will leave it as a simple observation that the song appeared some time after the band sent a demotape to On-U Sound.

Although not tagged I see that My American Wife are in the same review. I don't remember if if was this TTAAL tape that contained the lyric "Yankee trouble and Yankee strife", which may or may not have been about that band, but it would be apposite.”
