US 3 “Tucker Yoot Riddim”, Jeez that takes me back....
Just recollecting how down in Oz Land just round about this time all things grunge/ Seattle dominated the airwaves /up 'n coming bands and did so for the next 8/ 10 years.Music mags/papers on import usually a month or two old (haven't bought one for donkey's years). No internet obviously, so sometimes got the odd compilation tape in the post which would be played to death. Finley Quaye springs to mind; notice he's not up on the site, erstwhile resident of the crescents and all....?Big thing I missed about home was live music in all its varieties; things have improved somewhat down this neck of the woods though over the last 4 or 5 years, just don't have quite the same stamina....
