Another picture from Drone Studios, showing the famous blue walls of the denim dungeon! The shield in front of the mic was made from and old pair of pauls wifes tights!!
One day he said to Billy (shown singing here) "You do realise you are singing into my wifes crotch there"....and some wag at the back of the studio replied "...I thought there was a good echo on the recording!" Happy days :)

“Fictitious Names recorded a 2 track Demo here in Dec 1984 featuring: 'Altogether' and 'Real Ghosts'. 'Altogether' got some air play on Piccadilly Radio on Tony The Greek's show. On the strength of this demo Tony Michaelides asked Fictitious Names to play with The Stone Roses at Dingwalls, Camden, London in Feb 1985”
