Paris...

says Jez Williams;

"This was the day after we lost the Mercury Prize. I've never had a hangover like it. Stuck on a bloody bus driving to Paris feeling like I was going to die! The gig turned out to be on a small boat and the thing was at a forty degree angle the whole time. It was very hard to stand up on stage. I had to go back to the hotel early. We had to get a plane back to Manchester at 5.30 in the morning and two hours after we landed I was in court for driving with no car insurance. It wasn't even my fault- the insurance company had forgotten to send me a reminder!! A wierd weekend."
