Artefact

Badge
Kings Hall (Belle Vue)
27th June 1976

Bob Marley mirror type badge with the "Burnin" album graphics decalled on.It's got 27th/ 6/ '76 scratched on the back which my sister must have written after they all went to see him at Bellevue King's Hall and selfishly didn't force me to go along.I've written about the whole sorry tale before so I won't bang on about it anymore.I'm getting misty-eyed just thinking about it.
This is one of those mega badges, the size of a beer mat which were fairly common ,especially among girls round the time of, David Essex,Garry Glitter or whoever they had a crush on that particular week. Subtle wasn't in it.There's some old Granada footage of the thronging crowds of girls trying to get into a Bay City Rollers gig at the King's Hall some years earlier. Seems hysteria is still just as popular today.
