“Never lived in Hulme of that era but stayed there probably more than was good for me. I love this photo because it reminds me of those times when I was out on the balcony (no fault of my own!) around sunrise and without drugs your could rise above the urban decay & if there was a wisp of mist, in the dawn light you could see Hulme as it was when it was just a piece of pasture outside the city.”
