“Paul H reviews Joy Division supporting Buzzcocks at the Apollo. This was the 1st of the two nights. I remember most of the attendees were in the bar when Joy Division played. It was a Buzzcocks audience. I remember that Joy Division played a short set (less than half an hour), and Paul H is right, there one or two unfamiliar songs; this was the first time I heard ‘Love Will tear us Apart’. It had only been written in the six or seven weeks prior to this gig.”
