“Medium Cool was a London based label, run by a Mancunian - Andy Wake. Andy went to Altrincham Grammar school with John Squire and Ian Brown, (in the days before Ian had a Salford accent.) Andy is in the process of writing a blog telling the story of the label.
Walton's store was around the Withington Rd/Mauldeth Rd area, I think. I'm not sure if it was actually in Chorlton or just over the border into Whalley Range.”
