Susie Mathis

Lead singer with the Paper Dolls, Susie joined Piccadilly Radio in 1979 and became the first female daytime presenter on independent radio in the UK in 1981. Hosted daytime music and call-in shows until moving to BBC Radio Manchester in mid-1980s.
