Paralletix

Paralletix were formed in 1978 by steve fielding and tony parkinson. john gooden was recruited as front-man for his stand-out punk image and the fact that he had a large number of female fans! julie heyes was asked to join the band because she was a punk fashion icon and already had experience of being a member of one of the first all-girl punk bands in the country titled THE SHOCK. sue gooden also joined the band. Paralletix played a number of gigs and featured covers including 'feel alright' one of the bands gigs ended in disorder at little lever youth club and the police were called. after the band broke up steve fielding and tony parkinson formed GUN CONTROL and john gooden went on to become a leading member of the road crew with THE DAMNED
